marigold devlog 2

its been a little over 2 weeks since my last devlog, and things have been moving along slowly! I’ve been focusing on polishing up what effects I have, and carefully pruning and growing my ideas into the best shape they can be… this involves a lot of effort and as such I’ve made about 2 effects in the time since my last blog post. These effects are pretty cool and awesome though, i’m quite proud of them.

One of them is useful for navigating the world, and the other is useful for finding things! I hope you enjoy them once the game is out. Besides that, I have been chipping at worlds. Generally the same idea as effects, im trying to grow my ideas into great fully fleshed out things for your enjoyment. I have been away from home for the past week, so being able to work has been slowed down quite a bit. Alongside that, school starts this coming monday… major bummer. I will of course continue to work on the game further, and I feel like a train full of coal! I’m keeping this devlog short, but thank you for reading. The game is moving in a direction I like, its just a lot of work lol. I now understand why things like this take so long.
