my trip to chicringle

hi everyone! i just got home from a trip to chicringle the other day! i went up with charlie and his whole family and man it was a blast!!!! we made an awesome snowman who was so muscular and tall (might i add handsome (what a hunk…)).

the first night there i was really nervous to fall asleep and i dont really know why, i contacted a couple of my friends and they all helped so that was nice go friends :3 the first day was a lot of travelling and not much of anything else, except one thing that was super awesome the freaking flipping rainforest cafe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was so awesome i saw the gorilla and tracy tree and and and uhm, frog yeah i saw frog too! i got the rasta pasta and yeah it was solid. you pay for the experience i suppose. after we got our grub it was bed time zzzz.

the following day we decided to head into the city, i really tried to make seeing my friends work that day but its really really hard trying to manage like 8 people so it didnt work out sadly :(. (wait til the end it works out then.) to charlies family i was essentially a train expert cuz i helped with the train situation and that was fun i felt like a professional it was so cool. finally, my thomas the tank engine era is paying its dividends. we hit up portillos (a recurring trend), and hopped on the train. we went to the art insitute which was cool they had lots of art in there and it was an institute i guess so yay. after that we just went home cuz we had to pick up charlies brother from his thing (secret 0.0). we got home then it was bed time.

charlie was cranky this day (understandably and it was only in the morning) because he had to get up at like 530 to go to bens thing so yeesh. sorry charleton :L. that day we didnt really do much, we just hung out with ben so it was a nice break day i suppose. we got portillos (2nd time are you keeping track.) i got the cake shake it was good but like wayyyyy too sweet. a once in a year type treat for suresies. we headed back to the hotel and watched some episodes of mr. show. then ben had to go again til the next day.

the next day was a day that happened. it was soooooo cold! + like 7 inches of snow man it was crazy for me. we decided to go back to the city. so you know your girl had to become the train wiz again. we got there safely and checked out the cloud gate (bean for the uncultured x3), then went to the art institute (AGAIN). (I wanted to go to the field museum but whateeeeverrrrr…) and then we rushed home cuz ben needed to be back at his thing at 8. then we just hung out a bit at the hotel and THEN I SAW MY FRIENDS!!! wow so awesome. charlie got to meet my illinois buddies and wowzer it was awesome! they gave me some epic stuff and hugs etc it was all truly heartwarming you just had to be there. then they came back to the hotel and we watch ducks for dinner, truly one of the best videos ive ever seen, among other videos. it was a great time! but they had to go so we only hung out for a few hours. they left and then it was bed time.

final day! except not rreally because we just left on a plane. we left the hotel at like 1pm and it was a whole ordeal ill save my fingers the effort of typing it. we didnt get home til 2 am and then we had school at 7 so that was lame but its okay because i had a lot of fun!
