hi everyone!!! i’ve still been keeping up with rpg maker, its fun! but for every ounce of fun rpg maker is, its also equal parts pain in my friggin ass!!! this shiz is so gimmicky its so infuriating,,, but when i do figure it out… its got me purring big time. game is going steady and i’m really enjoying the freedom that comes with a creative project that i’m doing 99.99% on my own. i’ve made game related stuff before but this is new to me and its very scary but whatever its fun! IDC about how this turns out because its basically a yume nikki ripoff game and i’m fine with that.
speaking of yume nikki, i havent played it. but i have been playing yume 2kki online with my buds and that game is so fuckin cool i love it so much. you can tell that so much love was poured into it over years by dedicated fans. monochrome feudal japan forever!!! we made it to the deepest parts of the dreamworld and the highest reaches, too! who woulda thought that what they both have in common is construction signs… all in all its giving me nostalgia flashback whiplash to when i was in middle school sitting on my shitty lenovo laptop. i’d stay up all night with my friends at a sleepover playing roblox horror levels, or reading club penguin creepy pastas… those were the days guys T_T. oddly, it also reminds me of a really funny chat room i used to go on too. the anime durarara was cool back when i was like 12 or 13, and someone made a chatroom themed around it that i would sorta frequent from time to time. basically my point is this online small community game is reminding me of other online small community games. lol.
